2. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, information generated when you use our services, and information received from third-party service providers where permitted by law.

Depending on the payment method you select, payment information may be submitted directly to the applicable payment processor.

Sensitive payment card information, such as full card numbers and card security codes, may be handled directly by the payment processor through hosted, embedded, encrypted, or tokenized payment technology rather than stored directly by Nexa Cards. Payment service providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies, terms, security standards, and legal obligations.

Depending on the product, this may include:

  • Player ID
  • User ID
  • Character ID
  • Game account identifier
  • Server
  • Region
  • Platform
  • Other information required for fulfillment

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to process the requested product, verify delivery, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain transaction records.

7. Information Collected Automatically

To protect accounts and transactions, we assign each browser a random device identifier stored in a security cookie. We record it, together with the date and time, your IP address, approximate country and browser, when you sign in, accept our policies at checkout, start a payment, and reveal a purchased code.

We use this information to operate and secure the Website, understand how customers use our services, detect suspicious activity, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the customer experience.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Nexa Cards may use cookies and similar technologies to provide and improve the Website.

These technologies may be used for purposes including:

  • Keeping users signed in
  • Maintaining shopping cart functionality
  • Remembering preferences
  • Website security
  • Fraud prevention, including a security cookie that stores a random device identifier
  • Analytics
  • Performance monitoring
  • Understanding website usage
  • Marketing where permitted and consent is required

Some cookies are necessary for the Website to function properly and cannot reasonably be disabled through our systems.

Where required by applicable law, we will request appropriate consent before using non-essential cookies.

For additional information, please review our Cookie Policy.

9. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

  • Creating and managing customer accounts
  • Processing payments
  • Processing and fulfilling orders
  • Delivering digital products
  • Sending order and delivery confirmations
  • Providing customer support
  • Investigating transaction or delivery issues
  • Processing refunds where applicable
  • Preventing fraud and unauthorized transactions
  • Protecting accounts and Website security
  • Detecting abuse, card testing, or suspicious activity
  • Responding to payment disputes and chargebacks
  • Improving our products and Website
  • Conducting analytics
  • Maintaining business, accounting, and transaction records
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
  • Enforcing our Terms & Conditions and policies

10. Fraud Prevention and Security

Because Nexa Cards provides digital products that may be delivered quickly and may become irreversible once delivered, we may use personal and transaction information to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.

Fraud prevention measures may involve analyzing information such as:

  • IP address, and whether it belongs to a VPN, proxy, Tor or hosting network (checked with an IP reputation provider)
  • Device information and device identifiers
  • Account activity and account age
  • Transaction history
  • Payment verification results, including 3D Secure and card-check results
  • Whether the same payment card or device has been used by other accounts
  • Earlier payment disputes or fraud reports connected to the account or device
  • Billing information
  • Order patterns
  • Risk information supplied by payment or security providers

We may use this information to decide whether an order can be delivered automatically or needs review, to request additional verification such as 3D Secure authentication or an identity check, and to apply purchase limits to newly created accounts.

Identity verification. Most customers are never asked to verify their identity. If an order is held for a security review, or if you choose to verify your account to remove the purchase limits of new accounts, we may ask you to complete an identity check with our verification provider, Didit. Didit asks you to photograph a government-issued identity document and take a selfie, and compares the two to confirm that the document is genuine and belongs to you. This comparison uses biometric data. Didit also checks the IP address and device used during the check. The check starts only when you choose to begin it, and Didit processes this information for the check under its own privacy policy.

Nexa Cards does not store your document images, selfie, video or biometric data on its own systems. They are held by Didit, and our team may view them only to review a held order, an identity check or a payment dispute. We store the result of the check and the details read from your document (such as your name, date of birth, gender, document type and number, issue and expiry dates, issuing country and the address shown on the document), the liveness and face-match scores, any risk warnings, and the IP address, approximate location, network provider and device and browser information of the check. Identity details are stored encrypted. We use this information to prevent fraud, to confirm that purchases made on your account are yours, and to respond to payment disputes. If you choose not to complete the check, our team reviews the held order, which can take longer and may lead to the order being canceled and refunded.

Phone verification. Before your first purchase, we verify the phone number on your account once, with a one-time code sent by WhatsApp or SMS through our verification provider Didit. Didit receives your phone number and the IP address and browser used for the check, and tells us the mobile carrier, the line type and whether the number is virtual or temporary. We keep the verified number, the date of the check and these results, and we use them to prevent fraud and to respond to payment disputes. Virtual and temporary numbers cannot be used.

Where reasonably necessary, an order may be temporarily held, manually reviewed, rejected, canceled, or refunded if we identify a significant security or fraud concern. If a payment is disputed or reported as fraudulent by the card issuer, purchased codes that have not yet been revealed may be locked until the matter is resolved.

11. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information simply for monetary payment.

We may share personal information with third parties where reasonably necessary to operate Nexa Cards and provide our services.

These third parties may include:

  • Payment processors and payment service providers
  • Card issuers and card networks, through our payment processor, when responding to a payment dispute
  • Digital product suppliers and fulfillment providers
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Email and communications providers
  • Fraud detection and security providers
  • Identity verification providers, such as Didit, when an identity check is requested
  • Analytics providers
  • Customer service tools
  • Review platforms, such as Trustpilot, to invite you to review your order
  • Professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers
  • Government authorities where legally required

When responding to a payment dispute, the information we provide may include your order details, account details, policy acceptance records, payment verification results, identity verification results (such as the date of the check, the name on your document and whether it matches the cardholder name, IP address and device), sign-in activity, IP address and device information, and the date and time purchased codes were revealed.

Review invitations. After an order is delivered, we share your name, email address and order reference with Trustpilot so that it can send you one invitation to review your purchase. Trustpilot handles this information under its own privacy policy. Leaving a review is optional, and you can opt out of review invitations using the link in the invitation email or by contacting us.

We seek to share only information reasonably necessary for the applicable service or purpose.

12. Product Suppliers and Fulfillment Partners

Certain orders may be fulfilled using independent suppliers, distributors, publishers, or digital fulfillment partners.

Where necessary to complete a transaction, we may provide such partners with limited information required for fulfillment, such as:

  • Product details
  • Region
  • Order identifier
  • Player ID or game account information for direct top-ups

We do not provide suppliers with additional personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for fulfillment, security, support, or legal compliance.

13. Legal Requirements and Disclosure

We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or regulation

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

We may also preserve information where required to comply with legal, financial, regulatory, payment network, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.

14. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and may take into account:

  • Account status
  • Order history
  • Payment and accounting obligations
  • Fraud prevention requirements
  • Chargeback and dispute periods
  • Tax requirements
  • Legal obligations
  • Security requirements

Account deletion. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data except the records of paid orders placed in the previous 18 months and the evidence connected to them (payment verification results, identity verification results, policy acceptance records, delivery and code-reveal records, and related sign-in records), together with the minimum account details needed to identify those orders (account identifier, username, name and email address). We keep these records only to prevent fraud, respond to payment disputes and chargebacks, and meet legal and accounting obligations. They are deleted automatically when that period ends, unless a dispute concerning them is still open.

Where information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

15. Data Security

Nexa Cards uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Security measures may include, where appropriate:

  • Secure network communications
  • Encryption in transit
  • Access controls
  • Account authentication controls
  • Secure hosting infrastructure
  • Monitoring for suspicious activity
  • Restricted access to personal information

However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

16. International Data Processing

Nexa Cards operates online and may use suppliers, payment processors, hosting providers, and other service providers located in different countries.

As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside the country in which you live.

Where required by applicable data protection laws, appropriate measures will be used to protect personal information when it is transferred internationally.

Depending on your country or region and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

These rights may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of certain personal information
  • Request restriction of certain processing activities
  • Object to certain uses of your information
  • Request a copy of certain personal information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

These rights may be subject to exceptions or limitations under applicable law.

For example, we may need to retain certain transaction information even after an account deletion request where the information is required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal, payment dispute, or regulatory purposes, as described in Section 14.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at: support@nexa-cards.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain privacy requests.

18. Marketing Communications

Where permitted by law, Nexa Cards may send marketing communications relating to products, promotions, or services that may be of interest to you.

Where consent is required, marketing communications will only be sent after the appropriate consent has been obtained.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication or by contacting us.
